Hi,
my phone is on, when I connected to charger previous with android 8, there was a small animation just above the home button. (my setting in developer options is all animation options off)
After upgrade to Android 9 (still have in developer options all animations options off)
the animation when plugged in the charger is not showing at all.
If Animator duration scale is set to 0.5x then the animation when plugged in is visible.
the animation is now in middle of screen visible as circle with percent charged.
great developer decision.
