Android 9 Issues

I noticed with Android 9 my weather application keeps popping up with high usage. I don't see a way to ignore this and whitelist it to run like you could in Android 8. What gives. They removed the ability to ignore applications in Android 9?

Accuweather was a known issue during beta.

Uninstall and reinstall your app and see.

I use Weather Forecast Pro. I was able to ignore it before like I said. I find it odd they removed that option in Android 9 to ignore certain applications.

The option is still there. Just a bit hard to find.
Go to settings, apps, three dots, special access, optimise battery usage.
