Android Auto Blocking Ringtone Sync for Bluetooth

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and when I check the bluetooth advanced settings, it shows that it is disabled because I have Android Auto installed.

Any idea on how to get around this? Or do I need to uninstall Android Auto?
