Android Auto - Google Play Music playlists not showing up

Hi all,

I just got an Android phone and Android Auto. I am currently using Google Play Music but none of my playlists are showing up when connected to Android Auto. The playlists show up fine on the web, my phone and iPad but once connected to the vehicle they are not there. Can anyone help me to fix this problem or is it a known issue?
