Just received my new Pixel 9 XL and love the phone (and not being in Samsung's walled garden anymore). Be that as it may, I'm encountering one super annoying problem I can't figure out.

No matter what I do, I'm unable to get Android Auto to work on my 2019 Chevrolet Trax. I've updated, force stopped, disabled, tried new cables, cleared the cache. Essentially, I've tried just about everything I can think of to get this phone to work with AA.

Anyone have this trouble? What in the world do I do to get it right?

Is there any new firmware for your car's head unit? If you're using the factory-installed head unit, have you checked with your car dealer to see if they have new firmware available?

No, I haven't. I'll have to see if the local Chevy dealer is aware of anything as such. Problem is, stealerships tend to charge outrageous prices for firmware upgrades. Ugh.

Try to clear all Bluetooth connections from the phone and clear AA data then reboot the phone. Now with no other devices connected to phone retry AA, I'm assuming you have a wired connection?
