android auto problem

OK, I don't like AA and think it's a pain more than anything with the notifications every time I plug in the USB in my car (2016 GM). I turned off a notification and I can't turn back on again and I messed some things up. It was a couple days ago and I'm remembering from memory, but I also took a pic from the 'notification log'.

I wanted to get rid of that little notification you have to tap once you plug the usb in while in your car (to exit AA). I got to an "Android System" notification menu and turned stuff off there (the icon is a little rounded 'r' that looks like the system icon, I think). Problem is now I can't use maps and usb charge at the same time. The maps quit and if I start again, it says "Your phone can't display Google Maps while Android Auto is running".

I need to get back to that Android System notification and turn some of those back on, but can't seem to find that anywhere (it is not the 'web view' that I need). Anyone out there got any ideas? Thanks.

I'm not sure but try Setting/Apps/ that app (android auto??) and then check its various Permissions.

Thanks, F22. I found it. You have to go to Apps and Notifications --> See all [x] apps --> [three dots] Show system --> Android System. "Car mode" was turned off and I turned it back on.
