Android Auto screen black when launched from my Sonata

Auto - 2015 Sonata
Phone - Note 4

Issue - For some reason for the last few weeks my Note 4 when connected and Android auto gets stuck on a black screen. There is nothing so far that I have tried that will fix this.

I do sometimes get "phone not responding or communicating" can't remember the exact message.

I have replaced the usb cable shutdown the phone. turned off the car and nothing will fix it.

no sometimes it will work for a day or two then go back to black screen.

What really stinks is that there is no tech support from Google on their software application.

Hope someone from Google is reading this.

Had the same issue with my 2015 Sonata and my Note 5. Launching AA on my phone first before plugging it in resolved it for me.
