Android Auto stopped working

We just bought an Opel (or Vauxhall for UK) Astra Sports Tourer 2016, and my Android Auto app wont work. It says "Phone incompatible", but it worked on a Skoda Octavia 2016 a couple of weeks back. Phone is Huawei Honor 7 (btw it works on a Honor 7 Lite). I already factory reseted my phone.

The same with me, Huawei P9lite, was working fine, now "incompatible"... wtf?

I just installed VNS-L31C432B151 now and the P9 lite is compatible again with Android Auto App!

Make sure you are using a data cable. The cable that comes with the phone is a data cable. The cable you buy to charge your phone is not necessarily a data cable.

this is right - the cable is important.
but it has nothing to do with the problem, that the app says, that the phone is not compatible.
you get this error also if you have no phone connected...

it's just a bug in the huawei firmware. with B151 i have now no problems and my phone appears to be compatible to android auto app again.
