Android captures more then 80% share in mobile market worldwide whereas Apple stood at first when it comes most profitable brand. its all so confusing..
i just wanted to ask that is there any difference between the mechanism of battery usage is both operating systems, and which one consumes less battery.
i mean is this helpful for cross platform: https://cells.pk/news/mobile-phone-battery-tips-7434.html

The difference in the battery usage is that Android runs Android itself on Linux, Android isn't an operating system, it's a Java Runtime, so that takes more battery than iOS, in which all apps are native machine language programs. The Runtime (Dalvik or whichever other one a manufacturer may use) takes battery to run.

Dunno bout other android phones but the BlackBerry KEYᵒⁿᵉ, Key² and Motion are beasts when it comes to battery life.

As you can't compare both because they are totally different in terms. The ios is perfectly optimized to use the battery.
when you take the iPhone X has 2716 mAh and Note 9 has 4000 mAh but both are almost the same with the battery life as Note 9 have bit long than iPhone X.
