Android Central on the SG3

Another noooB question. I have AC installed on my laptop and I have the AC app on my SG3, do they share user name/password or do I need to create another un/pw for the AC app that is on my SG3? When using the un/pw from my AC account on my laptop it won't allow me to access AC on my SG3, it keeps telling me "invalid password". I have been messing around with this dilemma for over an hour, so someone plz. shed some light on this problem.
