It's not on the home page yet, but it came up in my Beyond Pod Feed so I listened to it. I have a few comments about it.

(1) It's not the same price as the 5.1" S7, at least not on my carrier (T-Mobile). It's closer to a $600 ($630) phone than it is a $700 (S7 is $700). That's a 10% difference and it should be noted that the 5.5" S7 (Edge) is $779 and in a completely different price all together. So if you factor in screen size, they are definitely not the same price.

Sprint $576 v $649
Verizon $624 v $672

Only on AT&T is it inexplicably the same price, and you all agreed that both should be sent back because of how they handle bloatware. I don't disagree with that.

(2) I'm pretty sure the reason why the Camera module is not more ergonomic like DSL cameras is because with the wide angle lens flush to the body, your knuckles, if not the grip too, would show up in the photos. A wide angle lens on a DLS camera stands out from the body and can accommodate the grip.

(3) I'm not having the same build quality issues, but after hearing all of them I did put a case on my phone, which I haven't done in years. Then again, I'm not planning on using any modules yet as none attract me (at the right price range), so I'm not anticipating the constant swapping that might me causing Phil's cracking frame problem. But since LG did market it as a "friends" device that could be a problem going forward.

I guess my take away was that not everybody bought this phone for the modules - some people saw it as the best buy for a phone at the right size (5.3") and the right price ($630) with the Snapdragon 820. I felt the S7 was too small at 5.1" and couldn't justify the $780 for the Edge. I don't have to buy or use the modules, I don't need water resistance and the ability change a (free) battery is a nice plus (I averaged once or twice a month with the G4) in emergency situations.

I am having a ton of fun with the wide angle lens, they threw in a free 360Cam and, honestly I really feel like I got an amazing bargain of a phone for $630.
