In case you hadn't noticed the today's blog post where Dieter and Phil get a peak at the upcoming Merge, here's a peak at some video and be sure to hit up the post.

Here's what we're looking at spec wise:

• Flickr for sharing and viewing pictures With a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard,
• HTC FriendStream integrates Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter updates.

I tried comparing both videos to see if there was any hint but unfortunately, I was unable to tell.

Since it is going to alltel instead of verizon as we thought maybe it'll be good ole goog powering this thing. They've had plenty of time to change it up.

HTC is adamant about it coming to multiple carriers. Here's my question: Since it's a dual GSM/CDMA device, could it be released on a GSM carrier without CDMA support?

I don't see why it couldn't. US Cellular is in the mix just as much as Verizon. As for a GSM carrier, who else besides ATT would get it? And I don't even know if ATT would be interested? As I'm a Verizon customer, I don't follow their offerings.

Looking at List of United States wireless communications service providers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, only Cellular One might be worth it and that's because they have like six areas.
