Android clears Outlook categories on contacts??

I've noticed lately that contacts that I view or edit on my Droid Bionic start appearing as uncategorized in my Outlook 2010 account. It is becoming annoying having to re-categorize every contact that I view or edit on my phone.

It seems that interacting with these contacts removes their categories from the Outlook side of things. Does anyone have any information / advice on why this might be and how to stop it from happening?

My Outlook 365 account is synced to my phone via Corporate Sync. I just checked my Contact settings and it is storing new contacts in my corporate sync account, if this matters.

I have numerous phones that use hosted exchange, not MS 365 and this does not happen. I'm leaning toward something in the way 365 is handling the Active Sync connection.

You might want to contact MS Support for 365 and see if they have a setting that needs to be tweaked.
