This is probably a really stupid question but.....

Where do I find my desktop in "My Files"?

I want to save to or move a temporary document to my home screen for easy access & deletion. Just can't seem to grasp the concept.

To do that you'll need an app from the Play Store like ES File Explorer. Once you download it look for that file, long press on it select the "more" option and add to desktop.

This way you create a shortcut but the file is not in your homescreen so you cant delete it from there, just open it.

Well, duh! That's an app I use a lot for certain things but never really think about, especially when I have 1000 other things on my mind.
