Android device and Apple Watch

[Android Central Question]

Hi folks,

I was wondering if you could help with a query. My son has epilepsy and I'm looking at getting a smart watch to help track with seizures.

Some research has pointed that there are some apps that link with an Apple Watch that would be good.

I don't have any Apple devices so was wondering, can Apple watches be compatible with Android?

I currently have Galaxy S10, but I'll likely be upgrading to either S20 or Pixel 6 in the new year.

I don't believe so, and any apps that would link to the watch for that purpose would be iOS apps, and if there's an Android version they won't have the libraries needed to communicate with the Apple Watch...
