android is restarting loop

It keeps doing:
"Android is Starting"
"Optimizing App x of xxx"
After it optimized everything, it just shuts down and starts al over.. It has been doing this for over a day, with an pauze in between because the battery was drained. When it was charged again, I tried to restart, but it still keeps rebooting and optimizing..

Any ideas how to fix this or do have to get it fixed?

Ps. It's a motterola, but haven't been able to find out wich one.

Welcome to the forums. Your model number might be printed on the back toward the bottom. If it's there, its really small print. You will probably need a light and a magnifying glass.

Do you still have the box?

The reason I am asking for a model is it may become important if specific things like reflashing the ROM becomes an option.

To B. Diddy: I just cleared the cache, but starting the phone restarts the loop.

Since the model is unknown, you may need to consider talking to Motorola. You will most likely be required to send it in. You can also try talking to your carrier. They may know your model number.

Yeah, it sounds like a firmware or hardware issue.
