Wouldn't it be nice if Android would make cards to purchase apps on the market? IMO, i think they should have cards like itunes, xbox, ps3, etc. Because some people dont like putting there credit card info on the internet. Anyone else agree or am I on a lone ship?

I don't think that's google's type of thing. They go more for the digital distribution than anything else.

If anything, Google could work with its carrier partners to implement something like this, with google providing the back-end and the carriers providing the front-end.

T-Mobile has carrier billing, and Sprint says they will as well.

For the time being, you can use prepaid debit cards through Google Checkout.

You can always buy prepaid credit cards which have the benefit of not just being "Google Money" - I always hated going to places like Disney where you can buy $100 of Disney bucks but only spend it in the store.

Some credit card companies will let you set up virtual cards with fixed limits. They issue you a temporary number with a fairly short expiration and a credit limit you specify (obviously only as long as it's lower than your actual limit). You could make a card with $10 on it to limit your risk.

On the other hand, the one time my credit card number was stolen (probably from a hotel or restaurant after visiting Austin and NOT online) AMEX treated me very well so I'm not concerned at all about using mine with a trusted processor like Google.

Yeah. I guess i could just go buy like a $50 prepaid debit visa and use it stricty for apps. Just wanted to hear some quick thoughts. Thanks people.
