Android messages

Is there a way to save a group in this app to send messages to groups of people. I created a group in the Android contacts but I guess they aren't linked together when creating new message.

Are you asking about making a group chat or like sending one message to a group of people individually?

I don't think Android Messages plays with groups very well. You should try something else, like Textra.

Is there a reason you are not using the Samsung messages app? With it I can go to a contact group, select all then compose a message to everyone. It sounds like what you want to do.
