Android Mini PC, TV Stick, Etc... Questions and Opinions Wanted

Hey Guys,

I'm debating buying an Android Mini PC, Android TV Stick, or whatever else it can be called. Does anyone have any recommendations for one of these? To be honest, I'm not sure what I am even going to use it for yet. I have a projector that has HDMI which I might stream netflix or play games, like GTA 3, on. I also was thinking about using it as a document creator with Google Drive and Office Suite Pro 7. And I could also use it as a media streamer for my main TV.

Does anyone use it for anything I listed or for something I haven't thought of?

My main interest it to find a cheap dongle that will connect to my dumb (vrs SMART) tv - idea is to enable
use of a VPN service to connect to selected digital TV stations which are locked within their county bounderies.

I can use my Laptop of course at the moment to access one of these stations... and can run it on my dumb tv full screen with
hdmi connection. But its awkward.

MK809 MINI PC is potentially the solution - just reserve one of the hdmi tv slots for it and click in to view your 'restricted' foreign station.
There are VPN apps available, one of which works well on my NOTE 2, but I can't get it to work with the mk809. Welcome input from
anyone as to solution !

try the dongles or the box..im looking to buy one soon I've done alot of surfing to find the right one but theres too many out there...geekbuying.com is good place to read reviews they sell them from china...minix neo series is what im looking at with rc11 airmouse
