I have a nexus 6, running the preview of android N (build NPD90G).
Currently, I can't get android auto to launch at all. I get an error that says "no data received, check the connection or the mobile device." I have a 2016 volkswagen golf. For kicks I plugged someone elses iphone in (no one else in my family has an android phone to test with) and carplay launched perfectly, so I'm thinking it's likely not my car, but rather the phone. My car sees the phone in the device list, it just won't connect to it. Phone will charge off of the USB port though.
Anyone else having this issue, or have any suggestions? Hoping to not have to flash back to marshmallow, but it may be my only option.
