Android n00b question about rooting

If you root a phone, in this case the Incredible 2, to eliminate the VZ bloatware and have to restore it to factory settings for any reason does the bloatware come back?

yes. restore to factory would bring it all back.
however, it should be noted, there is no permanent root for this phone atm.
