Android Navigation quirks

In addition to the robotic voice on the nav app, another thing that bugs the hell out of me is when it tells you to turn onto a doctor instead of a drive. You would think that the developers would either 1. do not abbreviate things like Dr., Ln., Blvd., or Ave., or 2. they would adjust the software to recognize these abbreviations and have the voice speak them properly.
