Google is stupidity at it's best, the end user (that's us) should have the choice of what we use. Whether it's black on white or what color choices we pick. Not Google making us take there crappie decision on the colors make options not decisions made by a stupid coding person. That's just wrong with Google writing code it's not there's to make. That's why it takes manufacturer to re-write code to make those changes and drop there color schemes. Then the carrier has to make more changes and that's the reason we will not have Android O before the end 1st quarter of next year. Most likely the 2nd quarter of 2018.

First of all, stop insulting Google and their programmers. Second, putting in color changing options and other tweaks in the settings would need more new code amd thus more debugging. Also, Google's choice of colors is just fine (my opinion).

I do think that a dark theme would look nice though, too much white IMHO.

Yeah, I entirely agree. A dark theme is better for the eyes (less blue-rich white light). Also, a dark theme would help save power on AMOLED devices like my Tab S3.

Is there an app for anger management? I wonder if Ron Pfister will be posting on August 21st.
