I'm giving my retired Samsung galaxy S5 to my wife. Without going into detail, she wants to use the Phone only for Phone calls and Text messages. (she has an old 3G phone that won't work after 1/1/2023).
My plan is to wipe the phone with a FACTORY reset, have Verizon add her number to the SIM CARD and I will add text messages to the phone. The phone is running Android 6 now, but after I factory reset it, will it be newer Version? If so, what version will it be.
She is a total techniphobic and only wants the phone for PHONE CALLS.
Keeping in mind that she is a techniphobic, does anyone have any suggestions or comments? Thanks
