So, I upgraded to Android Oreo. My battery now sucks.

I have recognized that when I turn off the background activity in Android System my battery life is better.

However, upon restarting my phone (each time), the setting changes.

How do I keep the background activity of Android System off indefinitely?

I'm not even sure how to turn that swing off, or what it does. I haven't had much trouble doing my battery and I've been in Oreo for weeks now. That stinks

Personally I always do a soft rest..clearing cache..after an update..my battery has been nothing but better since the update..I recommend doing a cache clearing or even a factory reset when problems like this come up. Especially if most people are saying they have a better battery life after the update
