Android OS Battery drain

Has anyone experienced this type of usage

New update or ROM? Do a factory reset. Otherwise, the OS is using WAY too much battery. The question is why. What apps are you running that are keeping the OS awake constantly (which I'll bet is happening)?

Mine will do this as well if it loses connection to the phone network. My house is at the edge of reception range and if I leave it the wrong place my phone will drain in about 4-5 hours.
