Android P Beta

Looks good. I think it will be better after few days of use with battery and app suggestions.

so far so good. only issue that i have with the beta is that ever since i updated it and updated android auto, it wont appear on my car display. Let see how the next update will fare.

Love it! Everything about it is better. Wish I could swipe left to back in an app. But other than that, no problems at all.

Tell me about the visuals, as they compare to Oreo. For example, to me, in Oreo, things got smaller all around. Icons were smaller on the home screen. Notification text (actually this was in Nougat) got extremely small and hard to read. How do these things compare in P?

So you know you can use the Home button to swipe either right or left,, to scroll through your recently used and jump directly to any item in the list ?

It's just Ok so far. Not a big fan of the gestures as the tend to freeze when flicked up and can't be flicked away. Scotiabank app no longer works which is a bit of a pain. The pairing of a bluetooth device is crazy fast on P, I'll give them that. If I could switch back without having to wipe the device, at this point I would.

Im liking the gestures ! :)
I dont have any issues with the gestures freezing or otherwise . They are working as expected for me

Welp... Everythings is *bigger* on P (notifications, action center and others) but that's only because the things have a huuuuge margin, leaving all kind of spaces that just wastes space on the screen right now

I am very tempted to sign up for the beta but I did that for nougat on my S7 Edge and remember it wasn't the best experience. I love having the newest OS and usually like beta testing but I think now I might be leaning towards stability rather than having the newest right away. I know I could always un-enroll but I don't want to have to wipe my phone. I know from the nougat beta that if I do opt into the beta once I am on final release I can opt out and not have to wipe my phone.

Have been running on P2 XL and it has been incredibly stable. No glitches. Gesture navigation is great. Reminds me of webOS. Wondering if I should put it on my Pixel XL as well.

It's been working very well on my Pixel XL. (I'm still using Oreo on my Pixel 2 XL.) ;)

Really hoping that DND rules work better in this new version. Anybody with any experience with DND on Android P?

Well, 3 out of the 4 chargers I use, that previously fast charged with my MZ2P don't fast charge.
