Android phone keeps turning on internet connection by itself

since two days ago. It will keep off only if I choose the Airplane mode.

Welcome to the forums.
Try going into wifi, clicking the menu button and clicking advanced. That should bring up more settings for wifi, and is the Scanning always available option checked there?
