Android phone not updating to Android 12 after enrollment in beta (Pixel 3 phone)

Hi, new to this forum, I recently enrolled in the Android 12 beta program on Friday when I acquired my Pixel 3 phone, and as of Sunday 3 complete days after enrolling i haven't received the Android 12 update yet. It's a Pixel 3 phone, a device that is eligible and the PHONE that is registered for the beta program when I signed up from google/android/beta, but have yet to receive an update to update to Android 12.

Just trying to figure out why I'm not receiving the update for my Pixel 3 and wondering if anyone else in the community has had similar issue with updating to Android 12 beta.

Hi, you go into settings and manually check for the update ? It wont automatically appear after you enroll.

Running into the same issue with my Pixel 3 and was about to post and see if anyone else has experienced this.

I know it says it can take up to 24 hours, but I've never had the beta update not be instantaneous after enrolling. After I enroll and check for the update it'll show the "preparing for update" screen for a second or two but then go right back to the "your system is up to date" screen ... kinda weird.

I was considering trying out the beta on my 3xl as well. I'll be following this I believe I've seen others with 3's running the 12 beta. I know it's eligible. Maybe it's a weekend off thing lol.

No clue! Maybe the fact I enroll every year then unenroll a few weeks later without providing any feedback has finally caught up to me LOL

You tried restarting the phone?

Yep, several times. It's weird, but no biggie.

I had that happen in past , try also go into settings>apps>system apps >find software update and clear it's data and force stop then see if you can manually get the download

Guess they cut off downloads of beta 2 ... Just saw an article starting beta 3 dropped and I tried again and it's downloading

Beta 3 has just been released so check for update and see if you can install it now. They always cut off downloads a few days before they release the next one. I am downloading beta 3 as I type.

Yup, that's what it was; I was too late to the beta 2 party ... But early to the beta 3 party

Nah I don't think it's that. I'm enrolled and in it right now. I have a Note20 Ultra though. The weird thing is the most recent update (Dec.2.2021) isn't working. I've waited 24 hours. I've restarted, made sure everything is updated as far as system apps & any app or whatever that could be updated. Still nothing. Idk if anyone else is got it with Note20 Ultra on ATT but I've always ran beta w/o feedback. If ur eligible it should work. Although this year I know of 3 ppl with eligible phones who just aren't getting it. Now I got it but not completely.
