Android pie download for Moto X4

[Android Central Question]

I'm hoping to get a software update for my Moto X4, Payton, retus which is on Android version 7.1.1.

At least it would be great to update the security.

According to Motorola it's a phone that did qualify for the update. Yet, it's no longer available?
