So to cut the chase.does anyone have any idea when Android PIE is coming to the ROG Phone?i did message ASUSROG on their instagram but they didnt reply.

Shouldn't be. Nearly 90% of Android devices on the internet right now are NOT running Pie...

No set date yet but I would guess within the next month or 2 the Zenfone 5 got it in December, the 5z getting it by the end of January...also here's some info

Owh i read it wrong xD. But i mean for a 1K phone it should be on PIE out of the box or some sort...

Was interested in the ROG phone 2, but if the updates aren't there, guess it's Note10+ for me.

Well, just ordered a Note10+, at least I know the update situation with them and ATT.

I know it may be too late for you, but I personally think updates are overrated, and often change/remove features that people wasted. Just look at all the complaints about the Pie update on Samsung phones. Heck, I'm avoiding the Oreo update on my V20 and not missing it at all.
