Updated this morning. Not much has changed. The home button was supposed to be different, it isn't. Only difference I have seen is the show open apps screen is a kit different
Settings > System > Gestures Change the Swipe up on Home Button gesture to on...
Other changes - phones without notches are forced into a notch experience, the notification area is compressed to 3 or 4 icons next to the clock (which is now on the left, another change). The Bluetooth icon hides when no devices are connected, even if it's on. The AOD format is changed a little (battery charge level is now shown at the bottom of the screen).
This is just the surface...
There has to be away for them to display the notifications in the middle for non-notch devices. Perhaps in one of the upcoming updates.
Having said this Mike, my notification bar is quite crowded and would require a tiny notch....There has to be away for them to display the notifications in the middle for non-notch devices. Perhaps in one of the upcoming updates.
Perhaps...Maybe it's not so much the notch then, as it is limiting the notifications showing to 4.

I know. It's a bit half-arsed to be honest.Yeah.... Not sure why they don't have a true setting for phones without a physical notch.
