Android.process.media stopped message

Tried every suggestion still not working. By the way this is for Note 8.

Boot into recovery and delete cache, if that doesn't work get looking at recently downloaded apps

This was happening to me yesterday. The gallery didn't like a pic I moved out of secure folder.
I put it back into secure folder and the error stopped.

Welcome to Android Central! This error is typically due to a problem with a media file (i.e., a photo, video, or music file). The file could be corrupt. Since file corruption is more likely when saved to an SD card, see if the error persists if you unmount the SD card (in Settings>Storage​).
