Android, Samsung S5, one contact duplicates 100's of times. How can I stop it?

Android, Samsung S5, one contact duplicates 100's of times

I have one contact that keeps duplicating over and over until i run out of memory. I delete all entries of the contact and it starts again.

I have a similar problem. I have a repeated contact with over 150 entries in my contact list - and its a contact that I have never used. First, there seems to be no way to delete all of them at once . Deleting 150+ entries one by one is a nightmare. Second, when I try to delete, it tells me, "You can't delete contacts from read-only accounts, but you can hide them in your contacts lists" naturally, I can't find how to hide them. So, I can't delete them and I can't hide them, so I'm stuck with over 150 duplicate entries right at the beginning of my contact list under the letter "A". HELP!! Please, can someone tell me what I have to do to fix this? Thanks!
