Hey all. I am trying to install the Android SDK solely to take screenshots of my Incredible. I was following the guide here, which led me to the guide to install and setup the SDK located here..
However, when I try to run the SDK setup .exe, I receive this error:
Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: HTTPS SSL error. You might want to force download through HTTP in the settings.
Any ideas on what is causing this, and what I can do. Like I mentioned before, I am only trying to take screenshots. I am using a stock HTC Incredible with Android 2.1. The computer I am using is a Dell Insperon(sp?) laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit.
I remember running into this problem(I think it was the same) with my Eris, but I gave up right away. I would, however, like to get this figured out on my Incredible. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
