Android & smartphone newbie here!

Hey all!

Just joined in yesterday so decided to stop by and say hi. So yup, new to both smartphone and android. Still making a decision of which one to get. Too many awesome Android choices!!

Don't rush on a phone. Something great always comes out the holiday season. Nov-feb. Get the new nexus when it comes out

I agree with irvgotti about waiting if you are not in a dead rush to get something. I got my Galaxy S2 from Best Buy the week before Thanksgiving last year and got a blu-ray player thrown in for free that the phone can be the remote to. And the phone was at a price it stayed at until March or April. My first smartphone is got in Jan. If you have to get something now THOUGH look at the Samsung Galaxy S3

Thanks for the tip, Irvotti and robneilhendrix! Nope, I'm not in any rush. I just felt like it's time to get one since I'm travelling more frequently. So a map on a smartphone and easy internet access could really come in handy. If I wasn't using AT&T I would have gotten the Galaxy Nexus... I'm excited to see that there might be a new Nexus by LG coming out!

But If I were to get something now, I'm looking at either the Galaxy S3 or the One X+ that's coming out soon. But I guess I can wait.
