Android support libraries auto install?

I have my Google play not to auto update. But today I noticed something called support libraries auto updating. Then some sort of toast message popped up thanking me for feeback.

Anyone shed any light on this please?

I've seen Android Support Libraries auto-update as well -- I'm guessing this is like Google Play Services or the Play Store updating in the background -- they're necessary for continuing optimal performance, so there's no option to prevent them from auto-updating.
