How is it possible for me to not be able to reenable ASW after it's been disabled? For the of all to which is holy...I would like to enable the app w/o a network reset. Feel Me!

Welcome to the forums. What device do you have and which version of android is it running? After Nougat the ASW is included in Chrome, so the old app stays disabled unless you disable Chrome or go through an unnecessary procedure from the developer options. Nothing to worry about.
