Android Central Question

I am new to Android TV. I have a T95 Box(4GB memory) with a Samsung RU7100. I ripped some DVDs to a new (USB3) hard drive with DVDDecryptor. When I play back the ISOs on the T95 with KD Player or VLC, the video is fine for about a second and then becomes very choppy with only 1 or 2 fps.

The video plays fine on my laptop.

I tried looking online and fiddling with settings but got nowhere. I am totally stuck. Any Ideas?

Thank-you.

my first thought it the device not compatible with the format the movies were saved as. check the specs to see what is compatible.

Thank-you for your reply. Sorry for the delay but I had a trouble registering for the site but it is now sorted out.

I looked at the file. It is an ISO file which contains VOB files. When I check with VLC on my laptop, it says it is a 'MPEG-1/2 Video (mpgv)' with resolution 720x576 and a frame rate of 25fps. I would have thought a 4GB T95 could easily handle that. The Amazon description says it handles '1080P@60fps MPEG-2 MP/HL up to 1080P@60fps (ISO-13818) MPEG-1 MP/HL up to 1080P@60fps (ISO-11172)' and 'MPEG-4 ASP@L5 up to 1080P@60fps (ISO-14496)'.

Also, when I start the video, or jump to a location, the video is fine for 1/2 a second before becoming choppy. This suggests it can decode it and then something goes wrong.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank-you.
