Android update error using zip file on sdcard.....

Hi,

I was trying to update OS of my DX using zip files on sdcard,
but when I select "apply update from sdcard--> update.zip"
it started to install but later it failed.

The error message is "E: signature verification failed Installation aborted"

I already upgrade my phone to new one so it is not with verizon anymore
but I wanna use my DX using WIFI so I tryied to update it.

Please help me.....thanks a lot

What update file are you trying to use? Where did you get it? Are you trying to update using ClockworkModRecovery or via stock recovery? Are you rooted? What version are you running right now? We'll need more information to help you out.
