android wear a few months later

so I got the moto 360 when it first came out. so I have been using android wear for a few months now and I have to say overall I'm pretty disappointed. I understand I was an early adopter and with in the first month or so there were some updates to take care of some problems. but just overall I feel it could be better. im tired of the random days where for no reason my watch will drain its battery by 30% in two hours and I have to restart it. every so often it stops displaying notifications so I go to wear app send a demo card then I'm flooded with all the ones I missed. and now with lollipop, I can't silence my phone and just have my watch vibe. just overall sad and mad at google. i understand that all software at times acts buggy, but it seems android does it more. that's one thing I like about the fruit company. they make the hardware and software and it just works. i thought google wud do that with motorola but that didnt happpen. i think that wud have been cool. anyone else feeling me??

I was sort of disappointed with Android in the past. It always irks me when Google does something and then along comes Apple and things magically improve. The wearable market is a classic example along with Apple Pay. When I had my Moto 360, it had its flaws like you mentioned. I do like it over Apple because of its customization. Apple tends to work well for what it does but, it uses the same blah interface. I have tried to jump to Apple on a couple occasions vowing to my wife that I would never return back to Android but, in the end I always do. Also, when my wife got her 6 plus, I was tempted to make the jump once again but, then looked at the IOS interface and quickly changed my mind.

From what I've seen, you're talking about a Moto 360 issue, not Android Wear. I have the cheap G Watch, and suffer none of those issues.

There may be an app for something like that, however the heart rate sensors in most of these watches can be a bit finicky. In other words, I would NOT rely on an Android Wear watch for a serious / life threatening medical need!
