I still love the phone but am concerned for the future. Will the focus Rubin brought remain? Will we see a slow degredation of the updates and improvements? I'm hoping they will continue on the path established.

I was really hoping there was going to be a sequel, but now i'm not so sure. I had to send the ph-1 back because it is just still too buggy. Don't have time to wait for a fix on the choppy touch scrolling. I'm not convinced that it will be fixABLE

I haven't experienced any choppy scrolling. Phone is great. But now I'm just worrying about future updates and support

Flick scrolling is fine.. scrolling while keeping your finger on the screen like trying to carefully read something is horrible

I haven't noticed so I just tested it out... seems fine until you stop scrolling while not lifting your finger off the screen.. then it acts like you're doing a long press, and I get the menu for whatever options are available on that particular screen. Is this what you mean?

G** D*****!!! This is insane. If he had a workplace girlfriend at GOOGLE, his prior company, SO WHAT! This metoo nonsense is getting out of hand and turning into a witch hunt, just like many predicted it would. Andy IS Essential. Period. And i just bought back into the company after so many here have stated software updates were having a positive impact on the phone.

The lower price was enticing but I am in flipping CHINA until 2019 so an Essential without Andy scares the bageezzus out of me.
