I pre-ordered my SGS3 on the 9th of June and was told to expect delivery on of before the 10th of July. Now when I talk to someone at Verizon CS they are telling me to expect delivery on or before the 10th of July. WTF? I cannot believe that they actually expect me to wait the amount of time that I was originally told I would need to wait. The audacity of these people!!! Anger does not even begin to convey my feelings toward them. (Tongue now removed from cheek)
 
Careful, it has been noticed here anything not following approved guidelines for being concise and knowledgeable will be met with a version of smugness usually reserved for the elitist forums. IE BMW motorcars, or DB7 owners only. Humor and the uninformed are not worthy of of civil discourse. Not what one would expect from a forum for a more open system.
 
Big Red always seems to have a reason to be last to the races in some situations. Regardless, I'm sure once it does release for its customers they will be just as pleased as the rest of the SGSIII owners on the other US carriers have been.
 
I'm just waiting for those to get here on this thread and talk about how glad they are they've had to wait this long. How it's ridiculous to expect good service. Maybe those trolls are still over in the Maxx forum......

my angst wont be displayed till after the July 11th date, although I suspect contrary to the experts, Verizon of adding another layer of bloat for their profit. The shared data plan apparently wont fleece enough to line their coffers.
 
Opr8r- I sympathize with you! I am appalled to see that even at this late date, my originally promised shipping date of 7/9, has not been changed to reflect my desire to have it sooner than promised. The ONLY possible explanation, is that Verizon Wireless is using the time to torture and kill puppys, and also to load bloatware specifically designed to thwart my happiness when I receive my device.

Ha you mean employees? I took my wife to a local Verizon store to see if they had the SIII on display and the sales guy must have said "Razr" and "Maxx" about 100 times. When I was looking at other devices he kept telling me how they were all inferior to the Maxx. Pretty sure I know which device gets them the largest commission.

I kind of get the feeling that VZ knew that would be supply issue with the S3. That's why thier dates was at least 2 weeks behind. Sprint & AT&T had issues. Tmobile split thier dates for the S3 based on the gigs. I ordered mine on the 6th and completed my upgrade @ 7:15am. I was upset about the dates being changed. Not anymore. You're just giving youeself a headache each time you hear the S3 getting pushed back. The 9th or 10th will be hear sooner than you think. For now, I'm squeezing the last 500mb left on my 32GB sd card from my Tbolt. Patiently waiting to try the 64GB SD card on my S3.
 
I'm glad they have such a far date, because that means they can always send them out sooner and come out ahead. Rather than being like hmm att/sprint/tmo who are trying to get the pre-orders out that are already behind. They were told that would get them by the 21st and they didn't deliver. So yeah july 9th, 10th and 11th are a little ways out but that means we can get the phones within the time frame. And remember its not like they said they weren't shipping them the 11th. I'm happy that vzw at least got the phone and not just att/tmo.
 
A friend of mine at work got his ATT S3 on Friday... Then he asked me for help with it. Luckily it was over the phone and I didn't actually see his phone... ;)

Better get opera8or their binky....Oh no from 7/9 to 7/11. It's the end of the world. You've been surviving without the SGIII before it was announced, the day you pre-ordered it and are still by some miracle surviving now. I'm sure you can survive a few more days.
