As many of you know, on Jan 6th Apple opened the Mac App store. Its like the iTunes app store for Iphone, ipad and itouch, but for OSX. One of the apps in the store is "Angry Birds" for a whopping $5 dollars (no ads). I decided to buy it seeing that it must have more to offer as it is a 40 MB file. I bought it with some money and now am going to review it after beating 15 levels. So lets start!.

Gameplay:
As usual Rovio does a great job making a game. The gameplay is perfectly fine and is FULL SCREEN ONLY! Not something you wanna be doing while trying to multitask. It is exactly the same as the Android version from what I have noticed and doesn't include any extras. It will get updates normally like the Iphone version and Android version. Right now its up to date with the new levels.

Controls:
I am reviewing this using a Macbook Pro 13" 2010 Model. The controls are fairly simple yet confusing at first. One finger on the trackpad is how you shoot. But you dont click. As soon as your start you are controlling the bird. Just drag and release. Its very sensitive from what i've noticed. Two fingers Left to right or vice versa is move from side to side. Its confusing though, because if you swipe left, you go right, and if you swipe right, you move left. And pinch to zoom as usual. (This does come with support for older Mac's, but you need Snow Leopard to get the Mac App Store)

Value:
Overal i'd say buy it if you have 5 bucks to burn. Its pretty fun if your waiting for something or on the train to work. As of now I think there is an issue with updates but I think apple will fix it soon enough.

Conclusion:
Angry Birds by Rovio for Mac OSX is a great app, although it may take up a bit of space its worth it if you have the money. Just be ready for some confusing controls and lots of accidental shots :). (Right now its 50% off so hurry and buy!)
