On it like white on rice.. hehe.
I just got it.
Follow the link from thefredelement and then in the box to purchase the app, go to "how buying works" and there is a QR code you can scan to install the Amazon App Store. BTW, you have to turn on 1-click purchasing for it to work.
I have it downloaded but it won't install. I emailed support and they replied that there was a glitch in the software on Angry Birds end but I see that some of you have downloaded and installed with no problems so now I am not so sure it isn't on my end. I haven't had any trouble with any other Angry Birds App. so I am really puzzled on what is really going on. I even unmounted my SD Card and tried installing that way like I had to do with the original Angry Birds and as soon as I installed it I mounted SD Card and it works fine but not with Rio. If anyone has any solutions or thoughts please reply. I could use the help!!
Why do people use the Amazon App store. Angry Birds Rio is available for free from the app market. Just get the QR code from the article here on Android Central. First, I tried to search in the market and it didn't show up. However, if you use Google Goggles or any other QR code reader, it will take you to the market download... for FREE. Happy Gaming!
The reason for using the Amazon app store for Angry Birds Rio, was because it was exclusive to the Amazon app store for a period of time. Now it is available from the Market for free, and you don't need a QR code. Just search the Market for Angry Birds Rio, and scroll down to the bottom of the page......
