Ics has to be the biggest improvement to Android we have ever gotten. Along with a whole new design we got some new, exclusive to Android, transition effects when opening apps and the like. What do u guys think of these transitions? Do u like them? Or would u rather have the window open effect or flag fly effect of iOS and wp7? I personally like them, it makes Android very original and not a copy of iOS. But, I feel like the open effect on iOS makes the phone seem a little bit faster than a gn with its effects. Thoughts?

If they're too slow. Speed them up in developer options. But speeding them up will nullify the screen off animation.

Yes, I know about this feature. I've been playing around with them a lot.

Oh OK. I didn't like the animations when I had my iPhone. Until I jailbroke. And used fakeclockup. Android seems faster outta the box. ICS that is...

I've had an extensive history with android. Ever since the days of the OG Droid. My signature says exactly what I've had. Once the bionic came out. I grabbed it. Mistake. Figured it was time for a change so I went iOS. Well that lasted only a while. There was a lot that I grew accustomed to within android. So I sold my iPhone4. Came back to a charge then got my nexus.

Overall. IPhones work...but when it comes to a full custom device. Android

the GN's animations are very conservative because there's no skins. there's also no lag because there's no skins. i like the transitions just the way they are; which is, i really don't care about transition animations, and don't want to sacrifice speed for fancy ones.

I actually like the animations as well. A nice change and smooth, not so slow that they're simply annoying.
