Annoying Notification on Bluetooth Connection

Verizon Moto X running 4.4.4 .

Whenever I start my car, it connects to my Moto X via Bluetooth. Ever since upgrading to 4.4.4, my phone now plays the default notification sound (on the phone and over my car speakers) and vibrates whenever that handshake is made. It's a minor annoyance, but one that didn't happen pre 4.4.4 . Does anybody know of a setting to disable this?

Thanks.

I don't know of a way to disable that handshake notification. Lowering the volume to not hear the tone is the only thing you may be able to do, bit that's probably more of an annoyance than hearing the tone every time.

I figured it out.

This time, when I started my car, I made sure to have my phone unlocked. Turns out I was getting prompted to let MY-CAR (the Bluetooth device) have access to my contact list (even though I had already allowed it before the upgrade). For whatever reason, this notification was not visible if my phone was locked at the time the car was started. Weird.

Thanks for the replies!
