Annoying pop out semi circle Samsung galaxy s9

I have searched and found answers to this question for the S6 & S8 but the answers dont solve my problem. I see an annoying pop out half circle in either bottom corner that says recent apps, favorite apps, and settings i think. I cant make it come out when i want it to and i cant keep it from popping out to save my life! Please help get this annoyance out of my life! I have screenshots. Just not sure how to attach them here.

That "feature" is often related to apps by Cheetah Mobile or DU (who both make generally useless and often shady apps -- uninstall them now).

Welcome to the forums. That's the 'swipe' feature included in many apps. As @B. Diddy said the usual culprits are apps by CM or DU, other possibilities are flashlight, photo editor or free antivirus. In my experience the best way to find the culprit is checking the running services in the developer options right after you get this menu. This guide explains how to do this.
