Annoying Samsung internet link zoom

Has Samsung internet been updated recently? Suddenly pretty much any link I click brings up the zoomed version and I have to re click. Even if there are no other links anywhere near that it could be confused with and even if I am very precise with tapping the link. Has anyone else noticed this? It used to be far less sensitive and only happened on rare occasion, now it is constant.

Hi, have you checked in settings of Samsung internet under appearance? Control zoom

No that's not what I mean. When you try click a link, but instead of going to the link it zooms the area you clicked to help you pinpoint the correct link you were going for. Lately it is just way more sensitive and obtrusive. I don't think I've ever seen it on my phone, I think it's just on the tablet. Pretty sure I remember you as an apple tablet guy. ?????? Previously it was somewhat useful if a page was cluttered with links. Now it happens everywhere.

Here is an example. I clicked a link for the z34, (just reminicing about my early driving days cars) and it zoomed in to the link to make me click it again and make *sure* that's what I wanted to hit. Never seen this on an android phone though. Seems counter intuitive to have that on a tablet where links are bigger but not a phone where they are tiny.

AH-HA!!! Ok so I'm not crazy.......because of this issue anyway.
There is a samsung browser update today. One of the fixes is "fixed pop-up zoomer error in desktop mode". This may be the problem I've been having. I'm not at home now though to see if it will help my tablet issue, but it sounds like the fix to my problem. I use desktop mode on my tablet but not my phone so I guess that is why it was only happening on the tablet.

EDIT: Yep, problem is fixed!
