Annoying Search problem.

I have gotten into the habit of not using the Search Bar on my home page now because when I do use it to search and follow a link the page I open doesn't end up as an open page in Chrome Beta. If I have to leave (say, to answer a text) and come back the page I opened is gone and I have to start over. If I start in Chrome Beta then I go back and I am wherever I left off. That's fine except I don't have the "Ok Google" feature.

And Checking again...I guess if I open a page it IS in Chrome beta but it is the search results I lose. Am I missing a setting somewhere that would keep those search results if I leave the "ok google" page?

If you want to go back to the Google Search app results, have you tried bringing up the Recent Apps list and tapping on Google?

I totally understand you and as far as I've tried, I can't get this behavior to stop. It seems that's the way Google Search handles the results.

B.Diddy...Genius. I have NEVER had a use for that button/function before and it works if I don't put anything else in the box...which does indeed solve my problem...GREAT thanks! D.
